The winners of the 10th edition of the European Social Innovation Competition!

European Social Innovation Competition (EUSIC) winners were announced on February 2nd by the European Commission and the European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA). This challenge aimed to attract applications from diverse fields addressing issues related to the current architecture and sustainable solutions of European housing districts.

In the 10th edition of the EUSIC, the following three winners who will receive EUR 50 000 each were selected: ReLearn (Italy) monitors the waste produced by companies and municipalities to reduce their environmental impact, using Artificial intelligence; Sostre CĂ­vic (Spain) implements a non-profit, non-speculative and transformative alternative housing model that is more equitable and accessible, and SolMatePro (Austria) enables urban areas to store energy (a pressing issue for renewable energy transition) with great ease.
