Communication and Trust are Key to Boost Post-pandemic Tourism, Highlights World Tourism Organization

The World Tourism Organization (WTO) says that trust and communication will be essential to boost the world tourism industry after the long period of confinement that countries have suffered. It then considered that health and safety, as well as the state of the health system, are now “key elements” for any destination and are a crucial element in marketing plans. Furthermore, the WTO believes that recovery must go hand in hand with pillars such as “sustainability and innovation, together with an adequate use of data, which will have to become the new normal”.
